Thank you for your interest in joining, or renewing your membership with the Arts Council of Greater Lansing. We encourage you to explore our wide breadth of membership resources and benefits. To ensure the highest level of service, all Arts Council members, regardless of specific type, receive the same standard benefits package, which is outlined below.

In 2016, the Arts Council had 240 members, made up of a diverse body of local arts leaders, categorized into the following segements: individual artists/creative entreprenuers, students, arts educators, arts, cultural, and creative organizations, and 30+ cultural festivals dedicated to serving the Greater Lansing area. 

Due to the varying needs and desires of each type of membership, the Arts Council also offers additional services and benefits to members tailored to their unique interests and needs. Please take a moment to discover how a unique membership with the Arts Council can serve you today! 

 

 

 


  

Individual Artist/Creative Entrepreneur - $40/year

To join the Arts Council of Greater Lansing as an Individual Artist or Creative Entreprenuer, you must either live in Ingham, Eaton or Clinton County OR present a significant amount of work in the tri-county area OR desire to take part in the creative community within the tri-counties. 

Additional Exclusive Benefits Include

 

Arts Educators - $40/year

To join the Arts Council of Greater Lansing as an Arts Educator, you must either be a certified educator or hold a main profession as an arts educator/instructor in a school, art center, or other creative organization in either Ingham, Eaton, or Clinton County.

Students - $20/year

To join the Arts Council of Greater Lansing as a student of the arts, you must either be a full-time high school, college, or higher education student living or attending school in either Ingham, Eaton, or Clinton County. Proof of student ID may be required.

Arts & Cultural Organization/Creative Industry - $50-$250/year (depending on budget size)

To join the Arts Council of Greater Lansing as an arts and cultural organization or a creative industry organization, your organization must be physically located in Ingham, Eaton, or Clinton county. Organizations that are welcome include (but are not limited to): literary, performing, and visual arts organizations, as well as cultural institutions, museums, science centers, galleries, graphic design firms, music stores, fashion design firms and boutiques, and any other busineses or organizations that may designate themself as part of the creative industry in the tri-county area.

Greater Lansing Festival Alliance - $50-$250/year (depending on budget size)

To join the Arts Council of Greater Lansing as part of the Greater Lansing Festival Alliance, you must represent either a festival or annual event which takes place in Ingham, Eaton, or Clinton County.
