Greater Lansing Festival Alliance

The Greater Lansing Festival Alliance aims to facilitate, promote, and support greater Lansing’s non-profit cultural and artistic festivals in order to positively impact and enhance quality of life in the capital region.

The Festival Alliance exists in the arts and culture festival industry. This incorporates other industries such as tourism, restaurant, and entertainment. What is different about the Festival Alliance is that our festivals have a connecting thread of arts/culture.

Festival Alliance Participation Criteria:

  • Must be an arts and cultural festival whose primary emphasis is to highlight, bring further awareness of, and / or to celebrate arts and culture in greater Lansing
  • Majority of festival programming must include at least one of the following: visual art, music, film, dance, cultural heritage, historical significance, theatrical or other performing arts activity
  • Must have an annual attendance of 1,000 and have demonstrated economic impact

Festival Alliance Dues Structure:

The Arts Council will annually bill participating members each January, as the festival season gets underway.
