Individual Artist Grants Awarded to Five Local Artists

MCACA Minigrants Awarded to Local Organizations
Ten local non-profit organizations have been awarded a total of
$25,900 to fund high-quality artistic or cultural programs through the Michigan Council for Arts
and Cultural Affairs 2010 Regional Regranting Minigrant Program.
The Arts Council of Greater Lansing is the regional administrator of this state-wide program, and
oversees funding for arts and culture projects in the four-county area of Ingham, Eaton, Clinton
and Shiawassee.

City of Lansing Mini Grants Awarded to Five Local Arts Groups
Five Lansing organizations have received a total of $13,000 in City of Lansing mini grants through the Arts Council of Greater Lansing.
The City of Lansing General Funds Mini Grant dollars are administered by the Arts Council for arts and cultural events that take place within city limits, directly benefit City of Lansing residents, and are sponsored by small non-profit arts organizations.

Arts Council Awards Over $17,000 in New Grants Program
The Arts Council of Greater Lansing recently awarded $17,462 as part of its new Collaborative Arts Grant Program to local arts and cultural agencies. Funded by the Council's Arts Advancement Endowment Fund, the grants encourage local organizations to work together on new projects in greater Lansing.

MCACA FY 09 Round Two Minigrant Recipients
The Arts Council of Greater Lansing (ACGL), administrators of the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA) Minigrant Program for Ingham, Eaton and Shiawassee counties, announces the non-profit organizations awarded $27,600 in MCACA Minigrant funding for projects that will be held between April 1, 2009 and September 19, 2009.

New Collaborative Arts Grant Program Announced
The Arts Council of Greater Lansing is pleased to announce the establishment of a second new arts grant program in the greater Lansing region. The Collaborative Arts Grant program will provide funding up to $4,000 to encourage non-profit arts and cultural organizations located in the region to develop new, collaborative arts and cultural projects or activities to be presented within the greater Lansing region.
