On behalf of the City of Lansing, the Lansing Economic Development Corporation has contracted with the Arts Council of Greater Lansing to administer the programs and provide consultation, expertise and program support to the arts and cultural community throughout the grant process.

Applications will be reviewed by an advisory panel made up of economic development and artistic professionals selected on the basis of their familiarity with, and expertise in, a broad spectrum of artistic and economic development practices. The panel will select award recipients based upon the quality of the proposed project, its collaborative efforts, the impact on Lansing and its residents, and the organization’s fiscal competence.

Interested non-profit arts and cultural groups must submit a letter of intent to apply for the programs through the Arts Council by Sept. 3, 2010.
