Call for Artists! Greater Lansing Food Bank Seeks Art for Distribution Center

The Arts Council of Greater Lansing announces a call for artists for a catalog of artwork to be available for purchase by Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB). Artists are invited to choose existing or new artwork that inspires the staff, volunteers and neighbors visiting GLFB office spaces in the distribution center. The frontline workers of GLFB want artwork that helps the space to feel energetic, innovative, nourishing and community-based.

Mayor Andy Schor Announces 2023 Arts Project Grantees

Mayor Andy Schor announced today that a total of $83,750 was recently awarded to nine arts and cultural organizations that will be creating vibrancy and excitement in Lansing in the upcoming year. The City of Lansing’s Arts Projects Grants are funded through the annual City of Lansing Arts and Culture Grants program and are administered by the Arts Council of Greater Lansing.

Call for Artists! The Board of Water & Light #ArtMovesREO Project is Renewed

The Arts Council of Greater Lansing announces a call for artists for a public art project, funded by public resources through the Lansing Board of Water & Light. The #ArtMovesREO project will be an art print as an on-going rotation of art installed on Washington Ave. on the southwest corner of the Central Substation. We are seeking bold, innovative images that will engage and reflect the community and serve as a welcoming beacon for travelers in and out of REO Town.
