A Growing Organization and a Growing Board

A Growing Organization and a Growing Board
Announcing Board Changes and New Members!

The Arts Council of Greater Lansing continues to grow as an organization and our board of directors plays a key role in providing leadership, support and guidance to our staff and our organization as a whole.

Welcome aboard!
We are pleased to present to you four new board members serving the Arts Council of Greater Lansing for the next three years, including April Clobes, president and CEO Michigan State University Federal Credit Union; Kathie Feldpausch, senior vice president and CFO, Michigan Realtors; Kirk Meadows, senior attorney, Jackson National Life Insurance; and Craig Mitchell Smith, president/owner, Craig Mitchell Smith Glass.  We are also pleased that Ryan Lowe, partner at Simplified Tax has decided to continue his service on the board as well.

Changing of the guard
As part of the leadership changes for FY17, our slate of officers is changing as well. We recently said farewell to our board president Julie Pingston who served her term limit in the position. Julie led the Arts Council in the role of president for four years, and we are more than grateful for her service.

We are pleased to welcome Jeff Magnuson as our new president. Jeff has served in numerous official positions on the Arts Council board for several years, and he is an excellent choice to step into this role. Additionally, we welcome Ginny Haas as vice president; Steven Kozera as secretary; and Joe Viviano as treasurer.

We are so grateful for all of the time, hard work and dedication our board members bring to their positions, and we thank them all for everything they do.
