It’s Time for a Creative Exchange!

Join Us as We Talk Audience 

The Arts Council is excited to announce its Creative Exchange! This exciting new event will serve as an annual platform to convene artists, arts organizations and other members of the arts and culture sector to share ideas, knowledge, challenges, victories and a whole lot more! We are excited to create an opportunity to bring everyone to the table for a full day of workshops, panel discussions, networking, entertainment, lots of learning, and of course, creative exchange!

Who’s your audience?This year we are talking audience. Do you know yours? Do you know how to reach them–to engage them? We want to hear everyone’s thoughts and ideas on this topic, and we have a full and exciting day planned for you that will get everyone talking!

What to expect“Creative Exchange: Chasing and Engaging Audiences” will include dynamic speakers, eight break-out sessions, networking, open dialog and talk-back, plus continental breakfast, lunch, entertainment and so much more.

Introducing Keynote Speaker Donna Walker-Kuhne

Acknowledged as the nation’s foremost expert in Audience Development by the Arts & Business Council, Ms. Walker-Kuhne has devoted her professional career to increasing access to the arts. She has raised over $20 million in earned income promoting the arts to multicultural communities.

Donna Walker-Kuhne is President of Walker International Communications Group, a 30- year-old boutique marketing and audience development consulting agency. She provides consulting services to numerous arts organizations throughout the world.

She is also Senior Advisor, Community Engagement, New Jersey Performing Arts Center.  A veteran of over 19 Broadway productions, her nonprofit clients include  Restoration Art, 2econd Stage Theater, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Dance USA and The Apollo Theater. She is co-founder of Impact Broadway a multicultural project that engages over 300 students as audience members for Broadway with the goal to empower this community to be economic drivers of new audiences for the Broadway Theater district.  She is a lecturer and key note presenter for arts conferences in Moscow, Russia, Blomfontein, South Africa, University of Berlin, AMA Conference in Edinburgh and Australian Arts Conferences.
