Staff, board, committees, interns: people who make the Arts Council happen.
Clarice grew up in the Greater Lansing area and recently graduated from Michigan State University, earning her B.A. in English with a minor in public relations. Since graduating, she has received a graphic design certification through the California Institute of the Arts.
As a student, Clarice worked at the Facility for RareIsotope Beams at MSU as an administrative assistant. She interned at S.A.F.E.Place, a domestic violence shelter, as a public relations and community engagement intern. Additionally, she was a special events intern at buildOn, a nonprofit that works in education. The highlight of her college experience was studying abroad in London. She was able to study English literature and theater in its place of origin and immerse herself in British culture.
Clarice has always been drawn to the arts and loves to paint in her free time. She intends for the arts to always be part of her life and is excited about her role as the administrative assistant at the Arts Council.
